Make Your Own
Nail Oil

This time of year my hands are so dry, so I am using lotion after each time I wash my hands. It helps to hydrate and soften my skin, but my nails still get dry, weak, and seem to break so easily. I came up with this nail oil last year after looking everywhere for one to no avail. It is really easy to make yourself, and also makes a nice gift. (HINT HINT... holidays are coming)

I mix the ingredients in a glass jar that has a lid. You can also find little bottles here, and applicators here, if you want to really go all out. Putting it in cute little bottles does make it a nice gift, either for yourself, or someone special.

Nail Strengthening & Moisturizing Blend

1/2 cup Wheat Germ oil
1/4 Vitamin E oil
10 drops Frankincense oil
8 drops Myrrh oil
8 drops Lemon oil
mix together, apply to nails and cuticles 2-3 times daily for at least 30 days.

  1. LOVE your blog! Just got here from the Blog Star forum and I love how you have your business set up with tips on how to use essential oils. It's awesome that you're a doula! I want to be one when I grow up, too!
